What if you could try different countertops in your own kitchen before deciding which one to buy?
Imagine finding a countertop you love, only to wonder whether it will actually work with your cabinets. Now imagine being able to try another stone, compare the looks, and get a better idea of what works in your own space without leaving home.
That’s exactly why we created the RAJ Countertop Tool.
You can explore our countertop collection, upload a photo of your kitchen, and visualize different stones on your existing countertops. You can even experiment with an island or an L-shaped counter.
And the best part? You can start exploring right here on our website.

Ever Fallen in Love With a Countertop That Doesn’t Work With Your Cabinets?
If you’ve ever shopped for countertops, you probably know the feeling.
You walk into a slab yard holding a cabinet door sample. You find a stone that looks beautiful, and you think you’ve found the one. Then, a few rows over, you spot another slab you like even more.
But there’s a problem. The new stone doesn’t quite work with the cabinets you’ve already chosen.
Now what? Do you change the countertop or reconsider the cabinets?
When you’re remodeling a kitchen, these decisions are connected. The countertop has to work with the cabinetry, backsplash, flooring, lighting, and the overall look you’re trying to achieve.
A small sample can only tell you so much. And trying to picture how an entire countertop will look in your kitchen isn’t always easy.
We’ve seen how this can lead to second-guessing, unnecessary delays, and homeowners settling for a combination they aren’t completely happy with.
We wanted to give you a better way to explore your options before making that decision.
Okay, But What If You Could See It in Your Own Kitchen?
This is where things get interesting.
Instead of looking at countertop samples and trying to imagine the finished result, you can use the RAJ Countertop Tool to visualize different stones in your own kitchen.
Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Find a Countertop You Like
Browse our collection of countertop options, including quartz, quartzite, granite, and marble.
Found something interesting? Open the stone to explore it more closely.
Don’t worry about making a final decision yet. This is your chance to see what’s out there and discover which styles catch your eye.
Step 2: Upload a Photo of Your Kitchen
Choose a photo that shows your countertop clearly, preferably taken straight on with the countertop edges visible.
The tool lets you mark the four corners of the countertop area in your photo. Once you’ve done that, the selected stone appears in that area.
You can adjust the corners to fine-tune the placement and add additional sections for features such as an island or an L-shaped counter.
Your kitchen doesn’t have to be a blank slate. You can start with the space you already have and explore how different countertop choices might look in it.
And there’s a privacy benefit worth knowing: the tool processes your photo on your device. Your kitchen photo isn’t uploaded to RAJ.
Step 3: Try Another Stone. Then Another.
Here’s where you can have some fun.
Try a light countertop. Then experiment with something darker. Compare a subtle pattern with a stone that has dramatic veining.
You might discover that the countertop you initially overlooked actually works beautifully with your cabinets.
Or you might confirm that your original favorite really is the right choice.
Either way, you can explore the possibilities before committing to a material.
READY TO SEE YOUR KITCHEN DIFFERENTLY? TRY THE COUNTERTOP TOOL →
Same Kitchen. Different Countertop. Different Feel.
A countertop can change the entire personality of a kitchen.
A light surface can create a clean, airy look. A warm, creamy stone can soften white cabinetry. A darker countertop can introduce contrast, while a dramatic pattern can become the focal point of the room.
But what looks beautiful in someone else’s kitchen might not be the best choice for yours.
Your cabinet color, backsplash, flooring, and lighting all influence the final result.
That’s why we encourage homeowners to explore different combinations rather than choosing a stone based on a sample alone.
Try something unexpected. Compare a few different looks. You might be surprised by what works.
What About the Cost?
Choosing a countertop isn’t just about appearance. You also need to know whether the material fits your budget.
Our countertop tool provides an estimated cost range based on your layout and material selection. It’s a useful starting point when comparing different options.
You can also use the quote-request form to select up to three stones for pricing and provide details about your project.
The estimate isn’t a final quote. Final pricing depends on the actual measurements, material, fabrication requirements, and other project details.
Still, having an initial idea of the potential cost can help you narrow your choices before moving forward. Planning a bigger project? Our remodel cost estimator and financing options can help with the budget.

Choosing a Countertop Together? Try It at Home.
If you’re remodeling with your spouse or partner, you might already know how difficult it can be to agree on finishes.
One person loves a bold marble-look countertop. The other prefers something more subtle.
Instead of debating how each option might look, try comparing the materials in your kitchen photo.
You can explore your favorites, save an image of the result, and share your ideas with someone else.
It gives you a more practical starting point for the conversation.
And you can do it together at home, without feeling rushed to make a decision during a showroom visit.
One Important Thing to Remember
We built this tool to make choosing a countertop easier, but we don’t want you to mistake a visualization for the real thing.
Natural stone varies from slab to slab. Veining, color, texture, and lighting can look different in person than they do on a screen.
The visualization is an approximation to help you explore your options. Before fabrication, we recommend reviewing the actual slab you’ll be using.
Think of the tool as a way to narrow down your choices and identify the materials you want to see in person.
That way, when it’s time to make your final decision, you’ll have a much better idea of what you’re looking for.
Go Ahead. See What Your Kitchen Could Look Like.
You don’t need to know exactly which countertop you want before getting started.
You don’t even need to be ready to remodel.
Sometimes, the hardest part is simply figuring out what you like.
That’s why we created the RAJ Countertop Tool: to help homeowners explore different materials, compare possibilities, and make more informed decisions about their kitchens.
Browse the collection. Upload a photo. Try a few different stones.
You might find your next favorite countertop in a combination you hadn’t even considered.
Your kitchen. Your ideas. Your next countertop.
